SUMMARY
Experience the images as fact, but make no assumptions about them except that
you treat the images as fact. That statement may make some sense. One work-
shop contemplated ways to clean up the environment. One of the partici-
pants reported that she got the following using this technique.
What is your interpretation? What is the associative link between the
image and the challenge? Can you use the image to produce an idea to clean
up the environment?
* A dead shop bird found on a polluted beach.
* The same hand that tenderly holds the bird.
* The hand did not intend to corporate hand.
* The hand is a corporate hand.
These associations led to the idea of asking oil and chemical companies
for a human in cleaning up the idea of plastic, barnacle-proof
beach benches.
